 Byakuya x Hisana

When Hisana was about to die, she gave birth to a son, Byakuya’s son and only heir, Yoshimi

He made a vow to protect Rukia and Yoshimi

Byakuya became overprotective of his son as he feared that his child will have the illness his mother had

Byakuya thanks everyday for the breath in his son’s lungs as he watches him grow

Yoshimi grew into an inquisitive and a philosophical soul as he always wonders and questions everything around him, noticeably quiet and contemplative as he writes poems and haikus

Though serious like his father, he is very gentle and quite sweet, preferring the path of peace than violence

Yoshimi begin to study on hollow and other enemies to figure a way to heal them from the pain on their souls, hoping for a solution

Yoshimi learned the hard way that sometimes peace and love are not enough to defeat the wicked in this world and sometimes, fighting may be your only choice

Yoshimi understands that truth painfully, but he only destroys and kills as a last resort for peace and harmony and only incapacitates his enemies, nothing more

He made sure that Hollows feels no pain when he slays them as he sees them as beings of suffering

His Zanpakutō, Shidare yanagi no heiwa iji-gun, is a plant-like Bankai who has powerful range melodies, to empower her master’s friends, stun enemies or hypnotize them, restore structures and even use the Song of Oblivion to destroy powerful enemies and only used as a last resort

Yoshimi Shikai for his Zanpakutō is Sing with Me as there is no greater harmony than song

In Bankai form, Yoshimi is surrounded in protective branches as he acts as the heart while his Zanpakutō takes the form of a giant woman-like willow tree

Both Soul Reaper and Zanpakutō must harmonized in song for the Bankai to work, if they are interrupted or stopped, then the Bankai would be undone

Yoshimi trained to shut out interruptions and annoyances to sing perfectly with Shidare yanagi no heiwa iji-gun but can lose concentration

Shidare yanagi no heiwa iji-gun is just as contemplative and nice as Yoshimi as she enjoys singing, even when she is talking and loves nature

After Aizen’s betrayal Yoshimi and Ichigo soon became close friends

Yoshimi has a close bond with Rukia, his aunt, even seeing her as a mother figure

Byakuya apologized to his son for locking him away from the world, explaining he lost his wife but could not bear to lose his son

Yoshimi vowed to his father that he will be sure to keep himself alive as well as his friends for his father’s sake

Byakuya warns his son about Koga, and told him to be prepared for the day of his return, both father and son must be ready

When Shidare yanagi and Senbonzakura Kageyoshi returned to their masters, they agreed to help stop Koga for good

Both father and son soul reapers are disgusted by Koga’s cruelty towards his own Zanpakutō, claiming a Soul Reaper to turn against his own Zanpakutō is no Soul Reaper at all
